The Chinook was originally designed for use in steelhead & Chinook fishing in Idaho where we had to walk long distances to our favorite fishing holes. It allowed us to pack in all of our tackle and then be able to pack out heavy loads of fish. Since then it has become a favorite extended trip pack and also a delux meat pack for boned out quarters or any large loads.
